Keakaoku was a young child with no voice. Upon hearing of a flute that would allow him to express his thoughts with others, his kahuna are sent out in search of it. To obtain the flute, however, they must find a way to distract the mythical beings that guard it.
The Ka‘ena Aloha Series contains eight traditional Hawaiian legends about the Wai‘anae coast on the island of O‘ahu. Each story features photographers and models from their respective moku, who donated their time and work to recreate the nearly lost stories of ancient Hawai‘i.
